Digital Marketing for the Undecided

Webinar Programme

This webinar programme is the initial series in the training and development programme. The webinars will be delivered via Zoom and will consist of a mixture of direct delivery and discussion. 

The webinar programme is aimed at businesses, business owners and/or business association representatives who are undecided about the benefits of using digital marketing. It is anticipated that these sessions will allay any fears about the use; demonstrate the benefits of embarking on programmes; and consider methods to assist with the management of such programmes.

The programme will initially feature 5 topics [listed below] but it is feasible that further topics will be added as the programme rolls out.

Each session will be scheduled for an hour but will allow a degree of flexibility to ensure that the topics are fully covered and all questions dealt with.

Each session will be repeated on at least 3 occasions, at different times in the day [morning, afternoon & evening], to facilitate attendance at your convenience and to permit different team members from smaller businesses to attend. 

Webinar topics

  • The benefits of having a website for your business. You may not be convinced that a website is necessary or you may feel that using your existing approaches or social media on its own is adequate. This session will highlight the benefits of having a website and identify the impact that an effective website can have as part of your marketing approach.
  • How to manage your business website. Some businesses are put off having a website because they don’t have the skills or experience to manage it. This session will give some insight into how websites work and how to adopt a low maintenance approach. 
  • Commissioning a business website. Don’t know where to start; worried about the potential cost; don’t know what a good website looks like? These questions and more will be dealt with in this session leading to the production of a checklist that will allow you to commission a website for your business with confidence.
  • Managing digital marketing on a limited budget. Worried that a digital marketing programme will be expensive? This session will cover some of the costs involved and demonstrate that you don’t need a huge budget to operate an effective digital marketing approach for your business
  • Performance measurement of digital marketing programmes. How will you know whether your approach is working? Digital marketing is actually easier to measure than ‘traditional’ marketing and this session will cover how to measure what’s happening as a result of your digital marketing activity.

Full details of the training schedule will be issued once it’s finalised. The initial training programme has been completed but it is envisaged that a further programme will be scheduled in February 2022.
